Currently, the climbing can only be accessed from the Jiufangli Mountaineering Pass (Slimming Slope). Shanxia Lane can only accommodate one car, it is not recommended to drive in. "Pickling Objects Ancient Road" is a century-old ancient trail in Shigang District, Taichung. In the past, residents on the mountain had to go down the mountain by picking objects. The ridgeline of the ancient road is made of piled stones, also known as "Shi Pai Qi". From the parking lot of Shizhong Palace, the trail goes on the right side of Shizhong Palace to Wufu Linmen Shenmu, with a total length of about 2 kilometers. The Ancient Picking Road is located at the foothills above Shizhong Palace in Shigang District. It is an ancient road with a history of a hundred years. Because this path was the only way for early mountain residents to pick their own products to the market at the foot of the mountain to exchange for daily necessities. People pick heavy objects down the mountain, so it is named "The Ancient Road of Picking Objects". . Since the ancient road is located on the mountain tomb line and is made of stones, the locals call it "Shi Pai Qi". However, due to its long disrepair, the road was covered by weeds and was abandoned for a long time. It was not restored until the end of the 1990s. The current mountaineering trail has been built. The trail is about 4.7 kilometers long, and the end-to-end is connected in a large circle. It takes about half a day to walk from the entrance next to Shizhong Palace to the high point Wufu Linmen Shenmu, and then walk down the mountain to the starting point. Most of the trails are steep slopes, and you can choose a suitable climbing route according to your physical fitness. . The Picking Object Trail is part of the hiking trail. The entrance of the hiking trail is located beside Shizhong Palace and behind Shinong Square. There are bamboo forests, tree gardens, pear orchards, citrus orchards, and persimmon gardens along the way. The scenery is beautiful, the air is fresh, and there are many trees along the way. Shaded, scenic spots include Wufu Linmen Sacred Tree, King of Trees Sightseeing Farm, Jinfu Green Tunnel, Porter Pavilion, Landscape Pavilion, Shizhong Palace, Shisuo and other landscapes. Climbing to the high point, Shigang Dam is vivid in my eyes, and the idyllic scenery of Shigang District is full of views. Under the eyes, it is a new and popular mountaineering route in the local area.
