★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 帶著好奇的心情走進去點了一份蝦仁肉圓，一份三粒，一粒大概兩口吃完，外面粉皮偏軟爛，內容物類似草仔粿的餡料，然後吃到一隻跟蝦米一樣大小的蝦仁?目測大概1-2公分左右，搭配醬料跟甜辣椒醬，吃起來普通沒有太大的感覺，四神湯可以不用點，因為很小碗沒有任何薏仁或是印象中其他四神湯裡的內容物，吃完就是平常心看待。
 I walked in with curiosity and ordered a shrimp meatball, 3 pieces, about 2 bites per piece, the outer flour was soft and rotten, and the content was similar to the stuffing of grass kueh, and then I ate one with shrimp. 一份3顆，份量不多，不夠口感、調味都蠻合自己的。四神湯略鹹，只有豬腸。芋頭糕也好吃?

I ate this restaurant during my trip to Tainan last time. In this place where people and famous shops gather, it is indeed a little deserted, and it must be unique if it has been standing for many years! ?
Focus on the taste, and don't ask too much for the rest.
A serving of 3 pieces, the serving size is not much, not enough taste, and the seasoning is quite suitable. Sishen soup is slightly salty, with only pig intestines. The taro cake is also delicious ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As someone eating Tainan street food growing up , this is literally my favorite in Tainan (not exaggerating).
So, what is shrimp 肉圓？ it a steamed rice meat ball with a gooey skin made from rice and is filled with shrimps and meat. Shrimp 肉圓 can only be found in Tainan. The 肉圓 in northern Taiwan are fried and bigger.
Back to the topic, my favorite part about this food stand is its sauce - they make their own soy sauce using shrimps. The filling is vey “shrimpy” too. The shrimps are smaller than normal shrimps but it’s bc they’re using a specific type of shrimp.
The place is hole-in-the-wall but my family has been dining here for years. If you’re looking for something authentic, this is your gem.
