★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't think I would like savoury mochis but the fish floss one is their bestseller so I just had to give it a go. It was interesting and actually really yummy!
The green bean with red bean filling was not bad either - the red beans were really substantial. But i felt that the mochi 'pancake' is a misnomer; there's barely any hint of mochi in it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A local famous shop with delicious mochi (glutinous rice cake), flavored peanut, sesame, red bean, green bean, black bean, etc.
Everytime we travel to Hualien we sure will bought the Hualien Zeng's mochi, but this Taitung Chen's mochi are more tastiest then Zeng's. The mochi are fresh made, it only last for 24hrs, but after few hour especially summer day the mochi will become sticky and loss of flavor, finish it immediately rather keep it later or tomorrow are suggested.
Corner of the shop also sell some gift pack such as Roselle syrup, aborigines rice wine, fish floss, souvenir, etc.
And I recommend the roselle concentrated cyrup and mocha MUST BUY.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A local famous shop in Taitung. Mochi was fresh, soft and not too chewy. Better than Zeng's in Hualien. But there were crowded on weekends. Need to wait for loooong time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had alooottt of different brands all around taiwan and this till date is the best mochi ever ! Their red bean is really a cut above the rest. The mochi quality is also perfect. Texture and taste ! Highly recommend !
