★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Felt nostalgic so decided to come for lunch today since I used to come here with my parents when I was very young. Super disappointing experience. We asked the waitress about the size of the noodles and she estimated the size with her hands and said the bowl was small and encouraged us to order two bowls. When they came, the bowls were at least twice the size of what she told us and the chicken broth felt starchy, not naturally thick. We didn’t even finish one bowl since it felt quite unhealthy. The shrimp dish we got was just super bland and underwhelming. The bill somehow came out to be over $1100NT for stuff you could probably get on the side of the street lol. It’s really a shame that a restaurant that has been around for so long not only has not improved at all but had completely lost its touch. Subpar food, outdated interiors, dishonest service, overpriced for what it is.

Fish belly and steamed mini buns are great
The vegetable soup with tofu skin tasted burnt because of the way the tofu skin is made and they claim that it is how they do it. I still can't get used to the burnt taste though.
All is all, good service, friendly place and good to have them back

This is the place for family banquets and long drawn out meals that will beautifully fill to stomach and upgrade your cholesterol. The menu is meat heavy and every traditional specialty is available and frequently requested - though a vegetarian can survive and even thrive.

Theirs dishes especially the noodles are great, through the years, the decor has become slightly run down unfortunately.
Quality and service may not be as good as it was 10 years ago, but still not bad.
