★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was simple, cheap and fuss free. Tried the 咸豆浆（totally not into it), 米浆（delicious dessert like drink almost like watery sesame paste), 豆浆， 烧饼油条，蛋饼油条。140NTD. But do know what to order as the queue backs up really quickly when the locals drop by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is okay. I think it is slightly over-rated. I am a tourist from Malaysia, may be I am not used to the mild taste of food. It is less salty, less sweet, which is good as it is healthier. Soya and you tiao are average. The egg roll (蛋餅) is good. I like the carrot cake (蘿蔔糕)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple breakfast but the perfect combination. You cannot go wrong with homemade soya milk and fried dough sticks (油条). The ideal breakfast for a day out in Taiwan

饭团/ Fan Tuan for NT45 :would rate this 4/5. Contains egg, you tiao(oil fritter), pork floss (肉松) and salted preserved vegetables wrapped in glutinous rice. The salted vegetables add a nice savoury element to the rice
Shao Bing NT 70-60: would rate this 3.5/5 oil fritter is not the crispy type like Fu Hang Dou Jiang.
2. Waiting time: went on a Saturday morning and got to the front of the queue in 2 mins as compared to Fu Hang which was 1hr.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favoured local soymilk and snack place. They cater to locals who know what they want and give the stink-eye to tourists who stall the line trying to read the menu. Attitude problems. Food is good though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ soymilk soup was delicious. Don't use soy sauce and mix before you eat. There is salty sauce in the bottom. That makes the soup perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Xiaolongbao is the thicker one not the soupy one, but still super tasty! Great texture of the wraps and the filling was spot on! The red bean cake was out of mind delicious! Got to try it!
