★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very fabulous rice balls soup food stall in the famous food alley.
Lady boss is very nice, and luckily there is no queue while shop only opened minutes ago. I came by 3:21 in the afternoon, and food was ready in less than 10 minutes.
Mom swallowed down the rice ball with sesame fillings in rice wine egg drops soup, in a thundering speed suggested a good snack to satisfy her stomach in a lazy sunny afternoon.

Rice ball soups are delicious, this is my 4th visit. And, I decided to try different flavors. Rice balls in azuki bean soup. Rice balls (small size) in rice wine egg drop soup. Deep down in my mind, after Jeffrey my friend told me his mom was died from rice cake choked during his absence. Rice balls with sesame paste filling are somehow large enough to cause a choke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It costs ninety dollars but taste nothing only sweetness. I am comparing this red bean soup to 玉葉甜品 in central, Hong Kong. 玉葉甜品 is better than 八棟湯圓 because of a) full of red bean flavor, 2) soup is full of 紅豆沙, not this watery stuff, 3) not so thirsty after having it. If you have diabetes, I would strongly recommend you stay away this shop.
