★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such amazing beef noodles. Beef stomach and beef are well marinated and cooked till melt in ur mouth. Soup is flavourful and so so tasty. What a lovely experience. Well worth hunting down this place through several hidden turns and small lanes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful beef noodle in a secret alley. Tasty and nicely cooked noodle with great texture. I love the beef tendons, nice and chewy cooked to perfection. The staffs were very friendly to us. Totally recommended to anyone who loves beef noodle. I can eat this everyday!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A corner of a very small alley near Taipei Main Station. Hidden in this alley are some amazing eateries. It's really delicious if you don't mind their environment. Prefer here for the traveler who comes to Taiwan with low budget , and you can enjoy the traditional Taiwan beef noodles and dumplings here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a little hidden in a side street but hard to miss if you follow google maps. Don't mind the interior, it's all about the food here. There's two seating areas so there's plenty of seating. A wide choice of different noodle dishes and 滷味 (pot stewed meat, tofu etc.). The 半筋半肉 beef noodles were excellent - the meat had perfect soft texture and the soup was delicious. You can add some chili if you like your noodles spicy. Service was quick and friendly. They don't provide pens so you just tell the uncle what you'd like to order and he'll bring it in an instant. You pay before you eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Off the beaten track, I found the best beef noodles I've had during this Nov 2019 Taipei trip. I came back here 4 times during my short stay. The soup was extremely stocky, the beef perfect doneness, the fried pork accompanied the meal well. On my last day in Taipei, I decided to try a friend's recommendation at Fuhong but was sorely disappointed at their quality. So, I doubled back here and had another bowl of this fabulous tasting beef noodles before my flight home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stumbled upon this small market alley when I first arrived in Taipei and it's always been one of my favorite "secret" places. The noodles here are one of the city's best. The beef is melt in your mouth tender, the rich soup base is on the sweet side, the noodles are thick udon. If you are not afraid of the very "local" environmental standards right out of a movie then this place is for you !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW is what I have to say. One of the better beef noodle soups available in Taipei. I had the half meat half tendon version with thick noodles. The small bowl is 180NTD. It's not small however and I could barely finish it.
Big chunks of meat. The meat has some texture to it, I don't mind this actually. The tendons are plenty and very tender.
The noodles are handmade and cooked al dente.
The broth is very interesting since it is not red in colour at all. The flavour is amazing however, a very deep beef flavour. The broth is 5/5.
There is chili butter available at the table. As well as pickled cabbage and some kind of black bean sauce.
A must visit if you're in Taipei. Please walk not alley number 46. The alley itself is very traditional and local style.
A big plus is that they open relatively early. 09:30 am.
