★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been here for so many years and still doing good for a good reason. I was reminded of it this afternoon, trying to show my husband the authentic northern Chinese food! It's a proper restaurant and the prices listed as such. It's a pleasant dining experience with very quality food and years of stories!

The attendants are not kind and polite.
This is a place where I would not go back again....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious dishes! Only thing is that the cooking style is too oily. Probably should ask the chef is use lesser oil next time. The xiao long bao is average - the skin is too thick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food quality and really tasty. Classic Chinese dishes offered here, with reasonable price. Service here is full of "Taiwan-style", an old man looks like manager greetings with you and the not young waitress leads you to seat. Nearby MRT station, good location, good food, really recommended. By the way, suggest to make a reservation before coming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The original restaurant started in 1953, even the "new" location has now been around for 26 years. Not the fanciest of places nor the best service in the world, but the good traditional food and the nostalgia more than make up for it.
Delicious northern Chinese food: all kinds of Chinese pancakes, dumplings and pastries, stewed stinky tofu, cabbage salad, a variety of hotpot (try the freshly sliced lamb in traditional copper hotpot!). Noodle dishes are great as well.
