Best Chinese noodle restaurant in Taiwan

C	Christine Hui on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived close to closing time so they only had spicy noodles left but it was very good. The soup had lots of beef and the cuts were not too fatty which is what I prefer. Good quality and value. Easy walk from Ximen station.

So they asked us "Beef noodle soup, spicy or not spicy?" I went with spicy and it was tasty. The broth was smooth, beef tender and noodles had a firm consistency that I liked. The beef noodle soup will run you 220NTD and there's a few other things on the menu (as seen in the attached photos). Service is super fast. This place gets crowded so line up and the host will find you a seat. They'll ask you how many people and you can answer in English. Seats for 1-2 people can be found pretty quickly. Larger groups will take some waiting. Waiting for seats won't take long since they get people in and out of the place very quickly.

Customer service is excellent and the waiter also reminded us that there is complimentary top ups of noodles and soup, even if there were 2 ppl sharing! Dont bother w the spring onion roll tho, not very nice.

T	Taro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not bad. But I've been spoiled by many good bowls of beef noodle soup in Taipei so far. This place does not use handmade noodles. Which is fine but hard to compete with restaurants that uses handmade noodles. The beef is tender, but it's very salty. The piece of beef must be marinated in a strong salty marinade. Way too salty meat. The broth is OK but a bit oily as the pictures clearly shows. The price was 220 NTD. I think if they reduced the salt in the meat it would be decent but for 220 NTD you can get much better.
