It’s good, and I’ve been going for 10 years... but recently, the horrible old women in the grey coat has got my order wrong every time. This is never happened before. I even get off the MRT specially to buy it. She literally tells me what I want, does it wrong, while the nice young person behind the counter can’t do anything, but get on. This woman drives me insane... even the other tourists knew what I wanted and just said sorry, as they could speak Chinese. I think, if that old woman stopped to look at me, she can see the difference between I WANT and I DONT WANT... she just thinks everything I say is I DONT WANT. She is so deaf that she can’t hear 我要. I hope someone fires her. I will only go there when I don’t see her.

Simple, easy and cheap way to get full, if you are a budget traveller, you can buy the rice ball for your meal. This is the local food as Taiwanese breakfast. They provide several flavors, including the vegetarian one. You can take a look for the ingredients of it, and just order it by pointing, easy for foreigners to get one. No seat here, only for take out.

Pretty good rice ball with assorted filling. Only white short grain is available. Some stall in Taiwan would have a choice of white or purple rice

They serve one of the most delicious Taiwanese rice balls I've ever eaten. The rice ball with egg is particularly recommended. The rice is truly fresh, neither too hard nor too soft. The fillings are perfectly matched as well. They also serve very nice soya milk, which is great to go with rice balls. The staff's attitude is okay for me and you can not eat in (take away only). However, they definitely deserve 5 stars IMO regarding the food quality and inexpensive prices. It's the best value for money in this area I'd say.

Taiwanese glutinous rice ball roll for breakfast ; crispy Chinese doughnut (炸油條), pork floss meat (豬肉鬆), fish floss, sweet Chinese preserved turnip (甜菜脯), sweet preserved green mustard (甜酸菜) with fried beaten egg for TWD50. Ordered also a soy milk Overall it is a bit too sweet.

Sticky rice made into rice balls with different toppings inside. Inexpensive and filling since it is rice. The toppings vary and you get to pick one main ingredient. Overall pretty good, but keep in mind they do not have a place to eat, so you will have to find one yourself. I would suggest also getting a soy bean milk at the same time since they are a good combination together
