★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Far Eastern Polyclinic (遠東聯合診所) is a private polyclinic and is just across the Taipei Zhongshan Hall (台北中山堂). It is a cheaper alternative to the major hospitals where consultation (or called registration) fee is only NT$ 150 if you have the Taiwan Health Insurance card.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here to see the doctor as I am not eligible for Taiwan National Health Insurance coverage yet. While I thought the process was quite smooth, the lady asked me at least 6 times if I have my NHI, and even though my issue was all digestive related, they said they could only assign me to one doctor at a time (which means Id have to pay twice the consultation fees which makes zero sense!). I got to see the doctor only for one issue really quickly, and paid for my medicine after and got it. But I left the polyclinic without being able to see the other issue. Will find a proper GP next time and not be back here.
