★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Between China Airlines flights in Taipei on 1 July 2018 and took a train to the Main Train Station to see the sights. After wandering the underground markets came out here at lunch time. This Hot Pot restaurant caught our eyes. We spoke no Chinese languages, and were not familiar with hot pot style cuisine (totally clueless...). A young girl served us at the counter and when she realised we didn't know the process she took over and showed us how to do it. She was a delight. She knew little English but that didn't deter her from providing us with a great meal and a wonderful experience. Lots of giggles and smiles as we enjoyed one of the best dining experiences ever. She declined to accept my offer of a tip, until I told her it was for a cooking lesson. More giggles and smiles...
