★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experience here in Kanpai!! :) Reservations is definitely a must otherwise you can never walk in. The staff mistakenly gave our table to another pair so we gotta wait a bit longer than expected but they offered us free drinks as apology. FOOD WAS AMAZING! Prime cuts of the Australian grain-fed wagyu beef grilled by the friendly staff is the best thing we have had :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite places to eat. I miss the original cow tongue option. Fun place to eat drink and bbq yourself. All the chicken options are great(chicken cartilage and neck are a must), pork and beef cuts come in many varieties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a bad experience in the beginning, some staffs were kind of impatient. The beef and chicken were great, but only some dishes on the menu is available. Seafood was also great. Kimchi was okay.
The location is really good, next to MRT. It's a good place to BBQ with your friends or family.
Overall, everything is great except the customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a better dining experience 3 years ago at the main shop where the food was fantastic. I didn’t feel the same here. Food was actually not bad but nowhere great. Was really satisfying back then, now I didn’t quite think I got what I’ve paid for. Service was decently good. Floor staff were nice and attentive. The music was too loud or I was too old for it. Guessed it was the latter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful dining experience! The table was rather crowded but the staff made the best of out it. The plates came quickly, all at once, but we took our time and didn’t feel rushed. The thick slice beef tongue was otherworldly delicious. So were most of the beef product. The price was a bit higher than other BBQ place but it was definitely worth it.

the service is very poor, looks like you enter the fast food of Japanese barbecue, from the minute you reach the door, the waiter will make sure that you order fast, eat fast and leave fast. Globally a bad dinner experience
