★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reasonably-priced Japanese food, not a huge menu, but they've got a good selection of salmon-based dishes. Hand rolls (手卷) and dons (丼) are my go-to. As a bonus, they have self-serve miso soup in what looks like a giant rice cooker at the front. Just don't confuse that with the hot water container like I did.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't know what everyone is talking about, the food here is below average and the only attraction should be the low prices. The fish are definitely not fresh as you can taste the staleness and stiffness of each piece of sashimi. The hot dishes and tempura are appalling. Either the crowds who come here have no expectations or they just have low standards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place with good value. Food quality, selection, cleanliness, and service are good. Self serve miso soup available for self serve, too. Beer also available for purchase.
Take note If you don't read Chinese, they don't have an English menu as far as I know.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this restaurant except long waiting line. We ordered mackerel don and eel don. Both were excellent. Eel was super tender and delicious. Mackerel cooked perfect. Very smell and juciy. Miso soup was also good taste but tofu was too tiny. Overall, it's a super high CP value Japanese restaurant without service charge. Love it so much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i brought myself here for a solo date and this spot immediately became one of my favorite restaurants in taipei. everything tasted super fresh, and the delicate balance of flavors in every dish is really unparalleled. the staff are also really fun and kind :-) if you’re looking for high quality japanese food at a friendly price, look no further!
