★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So much flavor!
These soba remind me of Nikko!
We ordered vegetables and Chicken tempura, everything was perfect.
I need to come back and try more things, but so far the experience was amazing, from the Amazing black tea to the broth that you drink at the end!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Japanese ? soba restaurant keeps the original Japan atmosphere and flavour in every dish! Hidden in a small alley behind Shin Kong Mitsubishi department store, Zhongshan. It looks just like a private house and you might miss it if you don’t pay attention ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazingly tasty and healthy noodles all made family in-house. One of the hidden gems in Taipei. Recommend anyone who is going to make room to try all their 'small dishes'. The restaurant is famous for a few things including, most obviously, their soba noodles, duck, and tempura-styled fried dishes. I found almost everything we had to be very well thought out, balanced and executed. Prices seemed reasonable for a high end noodle place, but definitely still a bargain for the quality. Expect long lines of you are going right at lunch time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good soba noodles and side dishes, reasonably priced. It's not fully authentic and my soba appeared like a huge "soba bibimbap" to me, but still the taste is really pleasant. The 天ぷら (not in my photos; side note: interestingly on the Japanese menu it's fully written in Kanji?) could be a bit more カリカリ, but at least it's not too heavy, because in some other places I rather had the feeling as if I was eating Indian pakora. So in a nutshell, don't expect a fully Japanese experience (also not service-wise), but go here for some of the better-tasting soba noodles in Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the space and the appetizers here! The things I dislike about the restaurant are the cold AC, soba, and cash only here. Lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried the eel and cucumber roll and the duck soba.
The eel roll was tasty but it's quite expensive for what you get.
The soba was delicious! I would certainly go again. The tempura includes seafood as well as vegetables, so please be aware that this is not mentioned in the English menu

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very authentic Japanese experience. Even the menu was in Japanese, and I couldn’t understand it. But the customer service was great, they helped recommend some dish, and I loved it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars for the soba. Superb freshness and chewiness.
3 stars for the sauce and fried items... not very crispy and a little wet for my taste.
Other appetizers lacked flavor for my taste. Definitely light on salt and no msg. Who knows, maybe others will like it more this way. A little bland for me.
Not very filling, had to order another meal an hour later... and I don't even eat that much.
If I were to come back, I would order extra noodles. Best item on the menu.
