★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yep - decor looked new - 40 years ago. 420NTD all you can eat (for 2 hours?) grilled plate of choose-yourself meat/vegs/sauces - I just put one spoon (different sizes) of each and it tasted good - chef recommended 1.5 sesame oil with mutton - I expected cumin but didn't see any - venison meat looked best and tasted good - two bowls and I was full. Pause before dessert - fruit and DIY icecream cones. 520NTD if you add hot pot - didn't need - full already.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most delicious Mongolia Bar-B-Q in Taipei. Price still as same as ten years ago, and tasted as well too. Their beef, goat and deer are most welcome meat, you can do it yourself for source modification, then chef will give you a bowl with your combination, you can blame chef cuz that’s “actually” made by yourself! Recommend everyone who come to Taipei to have a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The meat assortment is fresh. Ingredient refills are fast. The food cooks quickly. There's also the hotpot option for an additional fee. This is where to go to get traditional-style Mongolian BBQ.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a 45 year old institution, and the best Mongolian all you can eat bbq restaurant I've ever been anywhere around the world. I hope they reopen after their recent fire. It's a gem....
PS. The old decor is actually now kind of historical - a rustic charm that heightens the enjoyment of the well made food. It really brings me back and is nostalgic.
I will take the old decor over all the so-called "modern" restaurants opening in Taiwan (and globally), that more often than not seem more interested in interior decoration rather producing tasty quality food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serves good food (chicken, beef, pork, duck and mutton) with veggies. They have a very good style of cooking Mongolian Food which you can actually view and take a photo or video of. They have a wide array of salads, desserts (try a small bowl of fairy grass with mochi balls and some beans because they're so great) and vegetables. They also have a hotpot cooked in a traditional way (using coal heat). A great place for food, fun and family gatherings, especially reunions and first time meetings with Taiwanese friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Better to make a reservation before, transition Taiwanese style Mongolian barbecue with the pickled cabbage hot pot, you will feel very fulfill after you finish! It's a all you can eat style, choose yourselves for your dish, having ice cream and fruit in the end! Only the floor was not clear!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First ever trying Mongolian BBQ. Honestly not the best place to go according to me personally. Place and environment was outdated, way below my cleanliness standard. There is much improvement could be done with the staff service. Hotpot is fine, they give you many dishes at the beginning which could fill your tummy, but when you want to add more, it takes long time for the staff to give it to you. Don’t know what’s wrong with this place. The only thing i could accept was the BBQ stall. Plenty type of meat you could pick (chicken, duck, pork, lamb and beef. i heard people say there is deer also but i could find it yesterday), various veggies and the best part was you could add any spices by your own that will suitable your saliva taste. So sorry to say, but i will think twice to comeback here unless they do a really big improvement. Good day mate!!
