They serve really good food and usually you can just walk in and have a table. But beware, the restaurant is getting more and more people coming by each month, soon you may have to reserve the table in advance or you will be left waiting. Enjoy!!

Chiu Yuet Fong is a classic Cantonese restaurant located in Grand Mayfull hotel. This is definitely one of the best places for Cantonese cuisine and dim sum I've ever been to. A five-star rating is well deserved in every aspect. The interior design of Chiu Yuet Fong is a concoction of traditional elegance and stylish touches, tables are comfortably spaced that you get a bit of privacy for yourself as well as the racket of the restaurant to bring up the appetite. Service and other stuff are also flawless. All in all give me a sense of upscale quality but without the intimidation that often come along with. We ordered a few dim sums and they are all fantastic, especially shrimp dumpling (har gow) and Patty with turnip shreds, out of this world! Other cuisines are also great. Cantonese fried noodle is authentic but upgraded with quality seafood like scallop and abalone. The Dongpo Pork is savory and comes with delicate bums, and I somehow find their little garnish pickled vegetable extraordinary, not the kind of garnish that you'd put much effort on, but they had it nicely done even with these seemingly unimportant details. One dish that I was a bit disappointed is the beef rib stew; they are poorly presented with an average taste. Lots of the dishes here come as one-person portion, which is nice. You could easily taste a little bit of everything even without big company. As it is close to Dragon Boat Festival, we also got to order some rice dumplings. There are ones that are more traditional and yet sophisticated, which are simply the original rice dumpling and Cantonese rice dumpling. Actually the Cantonese rice dumpling comes with a little delighting twist that some Huadiao (Chinese yellow wine) was added. Yeah, why not? One that really blew my mind was the Peranakan-style (a blending Chinese, Malay and Indonesian cooking techniques and ingredient) rice dumpling. This is not your ordinary rice dumpling, it's exotic and flavorful, and no doubt the most impressive rice dumpling I've ever had! Last but not least, we had the sweet rice dumpling for dessert; it's perfectly balanced between each ingredient. It also seems like a healthier choice for its less sweetened and mix of black rice. We are genuinely satisfied with this piece of artwork. Overall, Chiu Yuet Fong has the top-notch quality and taste and with a reasonable price tag, this restaurant would be in my pocket list from now on.

Upscale atmosphere. Fresh and delicious food. Knocked one star off for not providing cloth dinner napkins by default (provided when asked) at a place like this.

5 stars to the good food. I had the best radish pancake of my life there. 蘿蔔糕完勝!牛腩蘿蔔煲也好讚!炒飯炒米粉都很好吃! 5 stars to the service. A waitress was very friendly and helpful to our baby. She asked the kitchen to priorities our fried rice coz she knew that our son was hungry already.

Came here for a special duck meal, 3 ways. The duck skin and meat wrapped in thin pancakes were pretty good, a bit too greasy, but with good roasted flavors. The second way we chose was stir fried duck meat wrapped in lettuce, unfortunately, the duck meat cubes were a bit dry. The third way was my favorite:rice noodles with taro cooked in duck bones soup. This was a great combination, delicious soup, complemented by taro cubes. The restaurant was decorated brightly, very comfortable and pleasant!
