This was one of the best companies in the country before its declining during the recent years. The local managers are managing it like a Taiwan local company instead of like an American international company. Among which there is an organization “MT&E Asia” that is really not recommended. Not only because it does not comply with company’s core values (especially on Integrity), but also because it often operates things differently in a way that is unfavorable to its employees. (i.e., their application for overtime charge) Employees are often requested to work on internal assignments utilizing their personal time and with no provided resource. The management also tries to impede employee’s internal transfer to other organizations because it does not like things to be disclosed. Within MT&E Asia, there is a department its head is one of the worst. Although the person always likes to emphasize he is a Singaporean, he is more Chinese than anyone else in terms of his characteristics and behaviors. He focus on upper management while deferring or neglecting approval of his subordinates’ applications. He always puts his personal interest on top of company’s priorities. Whenever he works on a project, he cares more on manipulating his scheme than on making actual delivery to the project. He often purposely conveys false message or statement in private. And he likes to take opportunity to defame others in the organization (even his subordinates). And he always talks high but acts low.
