refered by tv program and internet. ordered few dishes, and its alright. i might had too high of expectation from TV. the price range is a bit high compared to its quality and quantity. still a decent hk style place.

Really good Hong Kong style Cantonese restaurant. Highly recommended, especially for large gatherings since they have a good variety. Pretty good quality medium price, right at Dazhi station.

Local family owned eatery with the best food I have eaten in a long time in Taiwan. Wide variety of dishes, all freshly made and served within 10 minutes. Very small eatery with only 10-14 seats, frequented only by residents. This restaurant is an insider tip not featured in any guide book. Note: This is a local business and they do not speak English. It's impossible to order unless you speak Chinese.

The only reason why I am rating this 3 out of 5 stars is because of the cleanliness, price, and the service. There are still great things about this restaurant like how some of the servers, the owner and a nice grandma, are very nice and act like they like their jobs. The food is also AMAZING. I would eat this any day, except for the spicy fish soup, which was too spicy. If there were an option for 3.5 stars, I would have chosen it. When I first entered the restaurant, I saw total of 5 flies on my utensils; and on the other ones too. There were too in my cup, one on my plate, and one in my bowl. There was also plenty of dust. When I poured water into my cup, I made a mistake of not looking into it first before drinking it. The restroom was downstairs in the dark and dirty basement, and had three ominous doors leading somewhere, probably a rotting body. The handle, toilet seat, sink, floor, and light switch were all covered in grime. The price of the food was a bit high though, ranging from around 200 to 900 NT, but the price was worth it for the food was great. A particular server(not naming names) always had a stern expressing on his/her face, and ignored me when I tried to ask for a spoon and cup. Overall, the atmosphere was nice and most of the servers were friendly. I recommend coming to this place if you are in a hurry for the food comes very quickly. This is a great place to eat and I enjoyed coming here.

This is an old fashion eatery without fancy decor. I wish the food served were better than other places of the same ilk. As it is, three stars seems fitting for my dining experience. The place was very crowded on the evening of my visit. The cured sausage in the mixed plate was the only praise worthy item. The "chicken wrapped in paper" underwhelmed as the flesh was overcooked and the seasoning was overpowering. The shrimps were too dry. All other dishes served that evening were adequate but not memorable. The services rendered that evening were nothing special. In summary, I would only go back if I am in the neighborhood and someone in my party wants to go.
