Delicious Indian food, the lunch special is worth it

I do not recommend going here at all. The waitress tried to keep 50NTD from me on purpose. I know it was on purpose because when I went back and told her she owed me money, she knew right away how much to give me; however, I never told her how much money she owed me or showed her my receipt, etc. And to make things worse, when I told the boss about it, he didn't seem to care. He said that she may have realized that she didn't give me enough change after I paid. But I was sitting right next to the till and she never came over to give me the money back. So either it was on purpose, or she realized what she'd done and decided not to give me my change back anyways. I asked to get my money back for the meal because of the whole ordeal and the boss said no. How many other people have they done this to? I'm not sure if this would have happened with a Taiwanese person, either. Perhaps they thought I wouldn't know the currency because I'm a foreigner. But the boss really didn't seem to care at all. Hence this review.

Good Indian food and the curry is rich in flavor and taste. I prefer my curry to be more spicy so the shop owner gave me "ghost chili" paste to be mixed with the mutton curry. It's delicious. The restaurant is located within the food court so you can have your meal either in the restaurant or take out to the food court area.

The food is alright but sometimes the waiting time is too long.

The oldest restaurant in Miramar food court which means something. I haven't visited for a while but when I came back, glad to see that they have improved their soup and salad. The flavor of curry is definitely there but a bit sweeter than I had in the rest of the world. A convenient choice for me when I miss Indian curry.

Chicken (if it was chicken): every piece was chewy and with gristle (see photo). There was not a lot of it either. The waiter recommended the dish as having "more" meat and as being "tasty". The sauce was not terrible but was more spicy (level 2 out of 4) than aromatic/flavoursome. (I ordered 醬爆咖哩雞). Food court quality at restaurant prices. Avoid.

Famous Indian food, at most of the Taiwan big shopping mall food court. Well... Not bad, but I think a bit pricey... However, still worth to try if you really want to have some Indian food around this area.

This place is a hit or miss. It's very inconsistent. At times they can be a 5 star, while other times it can be a 1 or 2 star. For the Indian palace group of restaurants, their flavor is always there, but quality has slid down over the years. Sometimes Beef korma was not chewable. Chicken curries tend to have bones, which should be processed properly, otherwise it can be a safety hazard. On a good day, their palak paneer is so good that it is comparable to an actual restaurant. Breads in general are fine. They give free masala chai tea here if you eat out in the food court area. Again, chai can be so good one day, but watered down on another day. Overall, it's good for food court food.
