★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I grew up eating this kind of fried meatballs. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 36 years I tried every restaurant that claims have this dish. So far, I haven’t found one that’s even close to what I get in Taiwan. And this is the best there is in Taipei. I stumbled upon this place from Google map when I stayed at Westin hotel. Once I tried the meatballs here I’m hooked to this place. Opens from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm and there is always a line no matter what time you get there. The price went up from the last time I was in Taipei about 2 years ago. But it is still worth it. Even though it states the place closes at 1:30 pm, they’ll close when they run out of the meatballs.

Second time arrived at 11:30AM, and waited 30min.
The exterior of meatball is made of starch; which is in right tendency. Not too chewy nor soft.
If you happened to be in the area, This is a Must Try location.

Been eating here for over 30 years and the taste still is the same!
Definitely recommend if you are nearby but just need to have patience!
