Established on April 20, 1980, Elder Chen Jinxu of the Mother Church Sanchong Church and the owner Elder Zheng Zhangyi contacted the church's current location (No. 8, Lane 280, Fuxing North Road, Taipei City) to agree to use it for free, and at the same time set up the World Opportunity Agency in Taiwan The chapter was initially shepherd by the Rev. Tang Huanan couple of American nationality. Because of its proximity to the Law and Business School of ZTE University, it was named "ZTE". Committed to student missionary work, opening up English worship and Taiwanese worship.

On April 20, 980, the Sanchongpu Church and the Taiwan Branch of World Opportunities jointly established the "Zhongxing Church" evangelistic center. In order to attract students from the School of Law and Business of Chung Hsing University to participate, at the beginning of the gathering, the worship was mainly in English. Later, the Taiwanese worship service began on Sunday morning, and the mother club sent several deans and members to assist in the gathering. In August 1981, Brother Qiu Yingtong was hired as the secretary of the association, and Pastor Tang Huanan was invited to assist in pastoring the church. On February 14, 1982, the ward establishment thanksgiving service was held, with the Trinity Church serving as the parent church. The church was established on March 6, 1983. The first general meeting was held on March 20 of the same year, and 2 elders and 7 deacons were elected. Zhang Jincheng was hired as the first pastor in October 1983 and left in January 1993. Employed Lin Zhaoren as the second pastor since November 1984
