玫瑰古蹟—蔡瑞月舞蹈研究社 - Section 2

熱鬧的都市巷弄內，藏有寧靜的驚喜。

鬧中取靜，咖啡好喝，蔡瑞月是台灣現代舞極重要的先驅和開創者，因此在近代現代舞或表演藝術等領域，蔡瑞月舞蹈社是很重要的代表性建築。日本時期的舞蹈社能保留至今，真是難能可貴！非常值得參觀支持一下～

綠草如蔭、大樹旁的日式建築在高樓林立的冷漠中更顯露溫度，所有門片鐵件裝飾都有舞者的元素，小細節的巧思很讓人會心品味

跟著地圖走，以為在右手邊，卻是在左手邊。其實10點就開始營業了，但是地圖上的說明是11點。非常美麗的庭園。一大片綠色的草坪，房子、草坪、樹木都有好好的整理。 用餐區有室內和室外。 本來根據地圖上的菜單就知道只有點心類的有限餐點的選擇。但是當天只有鹹派，因為人手不夠，又因為其他的餐點要拿出來解凍，需要很久的時間。中午11點多去的，等到可以點餐的時候，大約要12點了。 鹹派很好吃，但是一個真的不夠填肚子，至少要吃2個才勉強可以充飢。坐在外面享受風和日麗微風輕拂的感覺真的很棒，但是最好自己帶個杯蓋，因為即使在大陽傘下面，隨風而來的葉子和蟲子都有可能落入杯子。 椅子很硬，坐久了會疼，加上沒什麼食物，坐不了太久。

I like the cozy and “old house” feeling of Taipei with history

Worst experience as an audience member that I have ever had. Waited a long time to collect tickets because the staff were disorganized. The seating was folding chairs outside. In the rain there was no shelter at all and nothing to wipe the seats with. Sat down in wet seat with umbrellas everywhere, so I took out my umbrella. The staff started to offer rubbish disposable plastic bag raincoats. I prefer not to wear them because they are not breathable and make you sweat on the inside. Was told after three offers of raincoats that umbrellas are not allowed and I MUST wear a raincoat. So why not tell me the first time? The toilets are shut during performances so heaven forbid you have an emergency of any kind. I can understand no re-entry during a performance but purposefully not allowing patrons to use the toilets? Sat in the pouring rain on a plastic chair placed in grass as my feet got increasingly wet, sweating in my plastic bag raincoat, while being bitten by mosquitoes. I do not recommend seeing a performance here, ever. Even if it weren’t raining the mosquitoes and the seats would be awfully uncomfortable. How are you to focus on the dancers when you are in acute discomfort?
