★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Artsy Bookstore with its own little museum downstairs. I found some beautifull postcards and little gifts for various occasions in this little shop. Range of Japanese, Chinese and to a some small extend German Books.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A book store that focuses on art, comics, independent publishers, and zines. Very cool. Must visit if you want to find local zines or art books. Lots of crafts and gifts for sale. Great service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a constant theme in almost all the independent bookstores that we visited in our trip, that is the passion they have for Taiwan as you get to see a large portion of their collections are about their land, their culture, their food and even their politics. Books that wants you to know more about their cities & their town, their culinary scene, and their arts & social endeavour, books that tries to include you to be part of them.
As a foreigner, I instead felt that they are very repetitive since the beauty of independent bookstores is that they are supposedly different from one another in their books collection. But I believe the locals would appreciate them and I do hope our local bookstores to be like them.
