★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beef noodle, and you've got to be great to make it in the beef noodle scene of Taipei!
The owner/host is a wonderful person.
Local craft beers here as well. I tried two very different that I enjoyed: Alchemist Hefty Red and Alchemist Amis Music Festival - very distinct flavors. Also, Taiwanese whisky is smooth! I tried two.
Great service, eager to please. English is spoken, world travelers! You will enjoy the decor. I would not have found it if I had not been directed. You'll miss any outdoor signage (if there is any). The restaurant is unassumingly upstairs through an even less-assuming doorway. Ask directions. Come here!
Oh, and extra added bonus: for each purchased item the owners make charitable donations to local, underfunded organizations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beef noodle place that ALSO serves drinks. My favorite combo! They have a variety of whiskeys and cocktails to choose from. The beef noodle was very good. Soup tastes good and beef is tender. They are also known for their 滷味拼盤 so be sure to try some of that too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old fashioned beef noodles with strong, sweet and hot taste in different layers, and local-made brewed beer could help better taste. I like the renovation here, and hidden in the elder apartments is very interesting while exploring Taipei city. I’m expecting their dinner menu for chef special, and please feel free to ask waitress.

Will definitely stop by again when in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All the dishes were excellent. The beef noodles were good the first time I tried it. Now they are even better! The meat has a nice texture.
I like how water is stored in alcohol bottles. Looks like we're drinking.
There are limited tables so a reservation is recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe beef and soup are best in Taipei. The menu says it is from Australia. Beef is very tasty - good beef with nice seasoning. And the texture is chunky and soft. The soup is also well extracted broth.
Yet, noodle is very normal...
Pretty classic interior and cozy place. It is worth to visit with friends.
