Good for business traveller. Room is spacious.

Very good roast duck. You have to call and order it in advance.

Exceptional service from the staff as well as good location between two subway stops.

Pricey, but the staff is really great, nice, accommodating. Decent breakfast, wait staff is really nice and informative.

Came here for a family dinner. Food is decent, but the service is ridiculous. Staff are like either like robots only willing to do minimal work or kids with zero training. I have to guide their staff most of the time. Passed by the front desk when we exited and the staff there were equally rude and stared at my uncle blankly when he repeated his question several times, unbelievable. Only one manager (I assume) was behaving like an ordinary human being and able to answer our questions. Doubt I'll ever go back, there's restaurant with much better duck nearby.

I have no experience with Taipei International Hotel （台北國際飯店）so far, I have not visited it, have not tried the F&B services, nor have been recommended by any of my friends to be there. This does not necessarily mean that the hotel is not good, off course. What amazed me is the shape of the hotel’s building, it did not include th piece of land on the north east part, a corner now occupied by a shappy, old, and decayed building that houses a cell phone and accessories vendor, a traditional pastry vendor ( 李製餅家（LiZhiBingJia）), and something else, that building seems to intend to humiliate the hotel’s grand construction by its side. I do not know what went wrong by the time when the hotel was to be constructed, the hotel owner failed to consolidate that piece of land, the building thereon now serves like an eyesore, that was the impression to me whenever I passed there. Maybe the hotel owner had been asked for an astronomical number for compensation and had to turn it down, or both lands’ owners had animosity against each other, any negotiation was impossible. By the way, the hotel rate is rather attractive, only about NTD2,500 (about USD85 equivalent) a night, and its location is very good, not far from various business districts, city sight-seeing locations, and bus stops/MRT stations. You may give it a try when the Covid-19 pandemic is over. I’ll pay this hotel a visit next week, to have my own experience.
