時期的に売り切れが多かったけど試飲して納得のお茶を買いました♪

台湾の茶舗としては此処も有名。大陸にも支店を出しており、最初に出会ったのは杭州で、その美味に実に唸らされ、酔った。台北の本店は高級感に満ち、入るにはそれなりに覚悟がいるし、実際値が張る茶である。推測でしかないがこの美味を外国人には知られたくはないのかもしれない。日本にも外国人には教えたくない店とかはあるわけで、お付き合いにも適度な距離は必要であろう。画像は杭州支店の茶荘。

I like the Pu'er tea of this tea shop. The red color package is very cute. And since each leaves is packed in cotton bag, it is easier to take Pu'er tea any place. In my case, even I enjoy it during working at office or hotel room.

Jin Xuan tea: In my opinion, it is not as good as what most would expect from Jin Xuan tea. For reference, I tried the Jin xuan tea of two other small tea companies in Taipei which brewed their tea in a similar manner to this store, and both were amazing and had a very distinctive "milky" (as far as a vegetable can be) smell and taste which is the defining characteristic of Jin xuan tea. The Jin xuan here seemed to lack that defining characteristic and had a more generic tea taste. "Exquisite alishan oolong" tea: I ended up only buying this one. In the store, it tasted just a bit better than everything else I tried, but it was very subtle and very hard to pick out because in my opinion the traditional steep times are not long enough to bring out the flavor fully. When brewed at home for 2 minutes (much longer than they do in the store), it really tastes exquisite and robust, much better than in the store, and about the same as a highly prized organic high-mountain tea from a family friend (unbranded). The taste is very different from a typical alishan, with stronger hui2 gan1 (pleasant aftertaste). It doesn't have the typical floral taste of alishan but has another taste which can only be described as good Taiwanese tea. I think the breed of tea plant used might be different. The people were very kind and accommodating to me. My only complaint is they have to stick strictly with traditional brewing methods and won't grant requests to steep the tea longer than normal, but maybe this is just normal for tea houses. Also, I specified that I wanted to try the Jin Xuan Tieguanyin but she forgot and served the fo shou Tieguanyin instead.
