Best Sichuan restaurant in Taiwan

P	Photos Don't LAI on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Regent Hotel’s old Silk House (now it’s Cantonese cuisine) was my go-to for best mapao tofu in Taipei. Now I’m not sure. This place is pretty darn good. On top of that, all their other dishes are delicious and service is top notch. Adding it to my fave list.
V	V C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was excellent and the Crab was big as well. The reception need to be improved as we were waiting for the lady to bring us to be seated and she was at the counter kept texting, that’s not the service should be happened in the 5 star hotel restaurant!
R	RTK on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning spot for Sichuan style of cuisine. The food they provide here is extremely delicate and highly quality, the ingredients are also decent as well. I would especially recommend the “椒麻雞” and “spicy fish head”, if you order roasted duck/ Beijing duck, order with duck rice noodle will be a good choice. However, the roasted duck itself is quite good, but for me not that outstanding. They provide very thoughtful service, if you wanna have a 90 points dining experience or invite some important guests for a decent dinner, this is the proper place for you.

We ordered various dishes, including duck, fish head, seacucumbers, and spicy chicken. Every dish was delicious, high quality. The duck meat had a roasted flavor which was different, but tasty, not dry. The fish head was a very popular item, fresh fish and well balanced flavors, excellent spicy red peppers. The chick was tender and went well with the green chili sauce. Seacucumbers were above average also. Overall, an excellent meal. Service was good!
