★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 觀景台不大，不過視野跟景色都很不錯，可以從另一個方向（由北朝南）欣賞大佳河濱公園、松山機場、臺北101等重要地標，再加上不論從劍潭捷運站還是圓山大飯店旁出發都是很方便好走的步道，是走起來很舒服的一條路線。
 The viewing platform is not large, but the view and scenery are very good. You can enjoy important landmarks such as Dajia Riverside Park, Songshan Airport, Taipei 101 from the other direction (from north to south), plus whether it is from Jiantan MRT station It is a very convenient trail to walk next to the Grand Hotel. It is a very comfortable route to walk on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 劍潭山是一座離市區很近，登頂也不難的一座小百岳，沿途的觀景台主要有三座，這一座就是其中之一。
從劍潭登山口起登，往二等三角點的路上會經過的一個景點，在圓山廣播站旁，很少起霧，向臺北盆地望去風景頗好，運氣好可見到飛機在松山機場的起降（不過要專門觀機還是推薦步道另一端的老地方觀機平台）。
*注意：劍潭山上山沿途有許多岔路，要小心別走錯。
Jiantan Mountain is a small mountain that is very close to the city, and it is not difficult to climb to the top. There are three main viewing platforms along the way, and this one is one of them.
A scenic spot that you will pass on the way to the second-class triangle point from the Jiantan Mountain Trail is next to the Yuanshan Broadcasting Station. It is rarely foggy, and the scenery to the Taipei Basin is quite good. If you are lucky, you can see that the plane is at Songshan Airport. (However, if you want to watch the aircraft specifically, it is recommended to see the old local aircraft viewing platform at the other end of the trail).
*Note: There are many forks along the way up Jiantan Mountain, so be careful not to go wrong.

It involves climbing a lot of steps although there are stops along the way for those views or at the little shrines along the route. The view at the top is more than a fair reward for your efforts. Start your walk from just behind The Grand Hotel ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well paved but lots of stairs. There are multiple paths. People say it’s well sign posted but I still managed to get lost. Nice views at the top. I find it too close to the city though so you don’t get the fresh mountain air feel.
