★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's one of the few stalls that I'd patronize first thing upon landing in Taipei, and if I'm coming to Raohe night market. They sell peppery herbal pork ribs soup, and the owner has been around for a while now. There are a few other stalls that sell the same thing, but this is probably the most famous of them all. Eating by the stall side is also very simple and fuss free, without any expectations like you'd have in restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Especially popular in the winter, pork bones, with some meat, cooked in soup with many different kinds of Chinese medicine. Not my kind of pork soup, but tried it anyway. The soup was very very sweet, covering up any pork or Chinese medicine flavors. The pork bones were so so. Average!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must try pork rib soup. The boss is very friendly and he will talk to you like a friend.
The soup is delicious and pork is very tender and soft. It is always crowded with many people. You can also take away if you like to bring it home! Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ personally I I prefereed the pork joint stew than the lamb, because the taste is clear. it tastes a lot better than my mums version, I have to admit. My friends on the other hand preferred lamb one which is richer in meat flavour. All in all, we really like the soup and.would come back again in a winter day.
