For you photography pros out there looking to make poster sized prints of your work, don’t bother coming here on weekends because they are no trained to handle anything beyond the standard TIFF and JPEG files.
Case and point: I need to print a 36” x 24” poster from a PS file. I was only free on Sunday. So I came in, the staff advised me to convert the file to TIFF or JPEG even though I already told them I am printing a poster. The weekend staff does not have access to the Photoshop workstations in the back of the shop. So they advised that I can convert the files myself and email the file to them. You seasoned pros know from this that they are not trained to handle this type of work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had some negatives developed and scanned, and the quality of work is terrible. There is water residue and dust marks everywhere. I do a much better job at home, so I think this quality is not "professional", especially not at the cost of 240nt (which is more expensive than in the UK).
I'm waiting for another roll to be processed as it couldn't be done at the same time, so this time I'll check the quality before leaving the shop.
