Came here to upgrade my gogoro picked this place because of the raved reviews. Based on reviews they know a lot about upgrading electric scooters. I was all ready to give them my business, just needed to park the scooter down and start choosing, there was no spot in front of their shop, the owner(I think) asked me to park to the other side, when I got there wasn't sure which space belongs to them so asked one of their employee who was working outside where I could park. Then we this was the conversation in chinese: Me "excuse me where can I park?" Employee, looks around don't see any obvious spots, "what do you need?" Me "would like to ask about my bike" Employee "what do you want to ask about?" Me, thinking to hide my excitement "just bought bike recently and want to upgrade my tires because it's slippery and gf complains about pot holes, is there a way to change to a bigger, wider tire?" Employee "tires on electric scooters are all the same size, you can't increase the size because it might rub against something, and making it wider will not help with anything, you can only upgrade the material" Me "really? Making it wider doesn't help?" Employee "no it's only for kids who rides up mountains, nobody does that for electric scooters" Me "ok thanks" and left. This is what happens when you hire the wrong employee who doesn't know and let him talk to your customers. Edited: Thanks for replying and trying to address the "misunderstanding". Anyways hope you realize and accept this is the whole experience of not even helping us find a place to park and dismissing my questions on the spot is what drove my business away. Sure you can continue to cover for the technician and say he misunderstood my questions, but in the end I got the tire up-sized and upgraded in another shop which provided better ride height and stability. Main difference is they were able to check and told us gogoro usually over pump the tires to 40 psi which cause tires to lose absorption so we really noticed the difference there. I would expect a true gogoro expert to know that.
