The building was rebuilt in the 921 earthquake due to the severe damage to the building caused by the collapse of the East Star Building on the street. The building was also assisted by the 921 Reconstruction Foundation's temporary program and became the No. 41 of the Linmen family. The reconstruction project was completed in 2006.
