History of Songshan Church Development: One, The old (Yongji Road) synagogue was established. The parish was originally a Taipei church. The venue is located on the second floor of No. 267, Yongji Road, Songshan District (now Xinyi District), Taipei City. The Taipei Motherland will divide the area east of Keelung Road in Taipei City into this parish. There are 52 households with 156 believers, and the third floor was purchased in 1967 as a mission room and children's classroom. two, The new (Nanjing East Road) synagogue was established: due to the increase in the number of believers to more than 350 and the floating population, it actually has more than 400. The chapel can no longer be accommodated. In October 1977, The congregation decided to sell the old hall and purchase the second floor of No. 308, Section 5, Nanjing East Road, Songshan District as a hall with an area of ​​88 pings. The new hall was renovated and opened on June 25, 1998. After the synagogue was relocated to the new site, the Taipei Church further classified the area north of Section 4, Zhongxiao East Road, Taipei City, and the area east of Dunhua North Road as the parish of the Society. This church established the Xizhi Prayer House in March 1992, and is now a church in Xizhi. Thank you Lord! The number of believers has continued to increase after the relocation of this hall, and the number of registered members has increased to 480 by June 83, and the construction fund has accumulated a total of one million yuan. On the third floor, eighty-eight pings are used as religious education classrooms, mission rooms, conference rooms and comprehensive event spaces. On the third floor, a computer room and a party hall are added to accommodate Sabbath parties. four, On February 4, 1990, the Nangang Church was formally established, and about 130 believers were transferred from the Songshan Mother Church to the Nangang Church. As a result, the number of believers in our society plummeted to 407, and the meeting space suddenly felt quite loose. Thanking the Lord for His love, He continued to add believers to the Songshan Church. By July 1993, the number of believers had increased to five hundred. Construction was started in March 1993, and the third floor was converted into a multifunctional mobile compartment and kitchen and bathroom improvement works; plus the fifth floor was rented as a mission room and classroom. Fives, The efforts of past missionaries to shepherd believers and preach the Gospel. The number of believers has been increasing. The second-floor synagogue cannot be accommodated, and the third-floor annexe is crowded. During the meeting, it was like rubbing shoulders. Purchased the basement and converted it into the main hall. The second floor is converted into a multi-functional activity compartment, which is used as a side hall, restaurant, event space and classroom. The third floor was converted into a fixed classroom for religious education, and the third floor was purchased as a mission room. six, Because of the efforts of the believers in the missionary work, they will always be responsible for teaching the Gospel to the Songshan Church in the Republic of China through the North District Office. In 1996, several locals and Taiwanese came to believe in the Lord. At present, there are meeting points in Beigan and Nangan, which are of great help to the brothers and sisters who serve as soldiers in the Ark Fellowship. There are school tutoring classes and religious education in the summer. However, the number of local believers is still insufficient, and they pray for God's guidance and way. Seven, When the Songshan Church relocated to its new meeting place in June 1978, the Sabbath meetings and love meals only opened at three tables at noon. At present, it has increased to twelve tables in the afternoon and ten tables in the evening. In addition, after lunch, there are exchange activities such as making tea and drinking coffee; the evangelist and the person in charge are passing through and mingling with the believers. These are showing that the church has a high fighting spirit, a strong love of the Lord and fiery faith; everyone is united in the prosperity of the gospel.
