★ ★ ★ ★ ★ clean shop selling focused on taro themed desserts although they have typical souvenir products as well. tried their taro pie (TWD 55).
taro pie: base of the pie was sponge cake with a thick layer of taro mash topped by some sort of cream (do not think it was whipping cream). the taro mash had no other ingredients which would be a perfect for taro purists/lovers. the product could be improved by having a cookie or some sort of actual pie crust and using real whipped cream. personally also prefer the taro mash to be more smooth (could still taste bits of taro but that's perhaps to convey the presence of real taro pieces). 3/5
