★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical Tappan yaki restaurant decor. Well known and supposedly high end. Unfortunately, average CP, average flavor, nothing stood out. The chef at the table seemed disinterested and disconnected. His table manner and skills as a chef was not of high class. For example, he sprayed black pepper all over everyone's plate during our meal, messy! A very important part of a Tappan yaki meal is watching the professional chef's cooking show, this was disappointing !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice decorations and clean environment. Good control of the doneness of the beef and chicken. Overall however, the food lacked inspiration. The second entree was especially unimpressive: a plain chawanmushi-esque egg devoid of any hint of stock or bouillon, topped with a sprinkling of truffle shavings without the characteristic aroma associated with the fungus. Desserts fared better, but still weren't excellent. For a restaurant touted to be one of the best teppanyaki in Taipei, this was a disappointing lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The wait was a little long in between dishes but other than that I think the executive set lunch does represent good value for decent protein and 4+ course meal. A bit of showmanship when they would do rounds for you to take pictures of the raw ingredients which became weird towards the end but otherwise it was a good meal if you have time to spare. The dessert nailed it for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Executive lunch is very good value. 6 course meal for around 60USD which included scallop , Wagyu beef and caviar. Lunch will take a bit of time so try to allocated 2 hours to enjoy the meal.
