★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The price is cheap and the food is great (very fresh)! The portion is HUGE! I ordered a Tempura Don for $250 NTD and it came with miso soup, grilled fish, and dessert. Definitely a restaurant that is worth going back! Make sure you make reservations! The only reason that I did not give 5-stars is because their service isn't that good and their sashimi (raw fish) is too huge! Some people might like the huge slice they give you but I personally prefer smaller slices!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Family style Japanese Food right at eastern side of the Taipei city. Came here every time I stepped in Taipei. A small restaurant in the alley but cooking styles and food are amazing. Prices are reasonable and portions are huge. If you like real Japanese food, this is the place for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come here during the week at lunchtime, you can have special price for lunch. That was a good deal for the big portion. The set comes with salad, rice, grilled pork and miso soup. We ordered 3 different sets, beef hotpot, unadon, which is rich with grilled eel on top, and sashimi. That was pretty enough for us 3.
The flavor of food was okay. It wasn’t amazing but for the price, it was a good value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ large portion, decent price lunch set, mediocre quality and taste, rude staff especially the cashier.
Place wise it's a bit small and cramped but it's not uncomfortable with a "moody" lighting.
In conclusion nothing to write home about, nothing feel too special except for the really tasty miso soup. For it's price I'd just go to those iPad self order sushi place
