Great camera shop if you want the latest and most popular mainstream gear, anything a little older or specialist, you'll probably need to look elsewhere. They generally have the best prices in Taipei, the staff are helpful, knowledgeable and patient. They often offer a lower price for cash vs card and for many items offer grey imports which give you a substantial saving. When you buy a body they will fit screen protectors for you, which is great and they do a great job. So why only 4 stars? The shop is a little bit being in a library, shhh. There is no try before you buy outside of bags and tripods, no demo units available to play with, only a 'try once you buy' to check everything works!. Totally the opposite of Japan, the US and most of Europe. Typical for Taiwan but doesn't make it good. Service in the shop can be painfully slow when they are busy. I wish they stocked more accessories and a wider variety of brands, especially for studio gear etc. I also wish that the website included everything you can buy in the shop. It's frustrating to have to go in person to see if they have what you want. Like everywhere in Taiwan the warranty service sucks compared to the US and Europe. I shouldn't complain as its the norm but they could choose to do better. They could be the Taiwanese version of B&H if they expanded the customer service and inventory to cover more brands, accessories and types of photography. All that said, whenever I want new gear, they are my go-to camera shop for great pricing and reliable purchases. 100% better than anything in the waste of time that is the (cough) famous 'Camera street". And a great place to buy your camera gear. Visit, you won't regret it ?
