One of those popular authentic Taiwanese food you can find in night markets. However, you can have comfortable seating, and with pictures illustrating the dishes they offer. Just point it out, then get ready for a good meal.

Great place for a cheap eat out. Good range of selections on the menu. I love their spicy dumpling! Overall, its a nice casual place providing AC and local Taiwanese food.

The red-braised fried pork belly is delicious, though overly greasy. The fried squid is nice and crispy but the portions were small for 120 NTD. The flavor of the marinated squid was slightly off, perhaps not salty or sour enough for my taste. The braised pork intestines are nicely cooked but was not salty enough on its own; it really needs the thick soy sauce served with it. The fried tofu needs a lot more thick soy sauce (they do have a self-service station with condiments including the thick soy sauce and their delicious chili paste). The noodles （阿公麵）I ordered are priced at 165 NTD, and it comes with more of fried pork belly, some pieces of pork, a meatball with taro, and two fried wontons. All the toppings, including the deep-fried pork, are put right on the broth, so everything gets soggy immediately as soon as it is served. The noodles alone are plain and do not soak up the broth. The broth, when fresh and hot, is pleasantly savory with a slight natural sweetness. The noodles do need a lot of the chili sauce. Overall, the food is decent but is surely overpriced. Most of the dishes are nice, but each of the side dishes (the pork belly, intestines, etc.) are all about 120 NTD, which is quite expensive given that this is a Taiwanese-style restaurant. Similar food items are served at street-stalls at half the price.

Never knew about this place until recently! My new go to place for squid soup. This place is great with so many side dish options!

Awesome traditional food!!! Love to grab Local food from this place, it taste so good, the chili wonton is one of the best dish that you should get, if you like red chili oil with a tip of vinegar! The stinky tofu is good too! As the squid were super fresh and the pork is crispy and tasty.
