★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice leeks dumplings.
But soybean milk is too thin and less flavor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very homey and friendly dining atmosphere for a variety of delicious Taiwanese pastry breakfast options. They offer many popular choices like shaobing, bread sticks, pancakes (i.e., danbing), and rice/soy milk. However, I like their steam dumplings best! Similar to regular dumplings but with a thinner skin dough. Fulfilling yet not overwhelming to the stomach!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Salty soy milk tastes soupy; definitely fall for that if you prefer a bowl of steamy soup to your wake-up. The steam dumplings are distinctively different from other counter parties, both look-wise and taste-wise. Simply put, they are thin-skinned dumplings steamed. So don’t expect the thick touch sometimes chewy texture of common steamed dumplings. Stuffing in there is literally stuffed; you could see it revealing under the thin skin. ShaoBing, the iconic Taiwanese breakfast, here is crisp. I’d have expected some soft layers in between. As for their steam buns, it’s said that theirs are one of the best in town. Well, it still depends on your tastes and preference though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the places where EVERYTHING fits. Seating is ample and not cramped, menu offers ample variety (and English version including pictures is available), opening hours are convenient, staff is very nice and most importantly the food is simply great. The 鹹豆漿 has just the right amount of toppings, a great consistency and taste. The clay oven bread with salad is the best I had in Taiwan- flaky but not falling apart, very fresh, not at all dry but also not too buttery. Great!
Only thing you should be aware as strict vegetarian is that you might want to ask if apparently vegetarian items are really vegetarian. I think the "salad sandwich" had some paste which was not vegetarian, but I'm not sure and in every case it was very delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not sure this is my first time review this store or not. Anyway, this is definitely one of my favorite restaurant when I come to office and have a lunch during break. Actually this is a breakfast store and extends business hour to noon for some people searching for light food. I light this store sooooo much, I can enjoy Taiwanese breakfast dishes around 12 o'clock-ish and most important, the dishes won't let you feel oily or heavy. Again, I came here too many times, I believe I will visit again and provide same rating as now.
