lovely decor and awesome food, the dining space was a lil small but it actually assures the dining experience and food quality.(Btw the diner provides curry sauce refill and it's free which is really cool)

Japanese curry ? like with cheese and spicy ? if they have vege one will be great ?

I’ve had this restaurant on my bucket list for a while now but have always hesitated because I don’t know chinese. I figured, worst comes to worse I would just order a beef curry. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly at the counter. The lady asked what I would like (in chinese), and I asked if she could speak English, which she said yes. She asked if I wanted beef or pork curry. I chose beef. Then she asked if I wanted fried chicken. I said yes. Then she asked if I wanted anything to drink. And I told her water. The ordering process went well. Now let’s talk about the food. I liked it. It’s not your typical Japanese style curry which has a smooth consistency. This one has a more beefy chunky texture, it reminds of eating beef stew. These are pluses in my book, but just know that it isn’t the typical curry. At this price point, I would say it’s pretty good. The chicken was also good, pretty standard fried chicken. It was juicy and flavorful, but not like the typical Japanese style karaage I am familiar with. Let’s talk price. 220 nt for the beef curry is reasonable. I’ve had cheaper curry nearby but those tasted like boxed curry whereas this one feels and tastes more like they cook everything from scratch. The fried chicken was 120 nt for four pieces. Personally I thought this was quite steep. I think 60-90 nt would be much more reasonable. That being said, I would consider ordering the fried chicken anyway for a more filling meal. The beef curry rice itself didn’t feel quite enough for a dinner meal to me. The chicken completed the meal. Lastly I wanted to point out the main reason I would give this meal/restaurant 4 stars rather than 5. I would wish they had served the curry and the chicken at the same time. The chicken came a good 7-8 minutes or so after the curry. Had I gone at a regular pace, I would have easily finished the curry within five minutes. But I wanted to wait for the chicken so I had to slow down. Overall, a great meal that I would come back for.

Delicious curry rice with reasonable price. I tried the beef one today. Love the sauce very much. Fried chicken was very juicy but a little bit pricy. The environment was very clean and tidy.

The space is Super small. Be prepared to queue standing outside of the restaurant. The curry is very aromatic but the meat wasn’t tender enough. Roughly at 1pm they already ran out of pork and I had to have beef briskets. There’s no service charge, but a dish of curry rice is already more than NT$200.
