★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hole-in-the-wall joint. If you are willing to give a traditional Taiwanese food a try, this is the place. Nothing fancy,but good and inexpensive.
Best go with a dish of 黑白切(hei-bai-chei ) kind of like a chef special of the day,a piece of 豆腐 (fried tofu cooked in broth )both will top with tasty sauce and julienne ginger , also a bowl of 米粉湯(me-fen-tung,aka rice noodle soup) or their famous 油飯 (io-fang aka savory sweet rice dish)
Mild, not greasy, small quantities and just right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite places! I come at least once per month. I definitely recommend this place. However, due to the fact that it is very popular, it often ran out of things. I usually go before 12 at noon so that all the options are still available. If I arrive around 12:30, some dishes all already sold out, which is a bit annoying, but understandable. The service is okay, but they get confused with the order. Overall, it's awesome!
