Best Bakery in Taiwan

S	Shu-Lun Tang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 star for the super friendly staff here. Quality of the baking goods is always good and stable. My personal favorite is the egg salad sandwich.
S	Simon T Bramley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't visit this bakery too often, as it's not as close as some others, but I do like it, as they often try new recipes out, or variations on things they do on a regular basis. The store is a little small so at the weekend it can get a bit crowded and you're left jostling past customers to get to the items you want or to get served, but it's not that you are there for too long. One of the odd things about this store is that they're nearly always playing middle-of-the-road traditional German songs that seem to come from the mid 80s! I'm not kidding! There is a German bakery nearby, which is clearly 'German', but apart from the music, there's nothing about this store that explains their choice of music. Odd.

If you like those healthy whole grain bread, you wouldn't like it here, however, if you are a sweet bread lover, must visit this bakery! We will see a lot of people say shut up and take my money. I also strongly recommend their nougat crackers!!!

Great for a quick on-the-go meal any time of day or for a snack while you wait outside for your table at Din Tai Fung. Roughly NT$30-45 per item (about $1-1.50 USD). There's a lot of variety and you might even see pizza. As you walk in, look to the right and grab tongs and a tray then line it with the provided paper. Pile up your goods then head to the register. They also accept credit cards and Apple Pay / Android Pay which is convenient.

When I told the employee that, she started giving me whole bunch of samples, lots of samples to try, to the point that I had to refuse her offer later on. Super friendly and patient even when I was being indecisive. The pineapple cookies and cranberry nugget were absolutely amazing!!! Strongly recommended to go here for gifts abroad!!!!
