★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Refined and attention to detail and quality is what you expect from Japanese food. Ramen to the Japanese is like pho for the Vietnamese folks. The difference are the ingredients and techniques. Growing up in the west aka America. You would not call that refined or fine dining. Everything was salty sweet or fries and fatty. So when I went to Japan for the JET programme (Japan exchange and teaching )back in the turn of the century I couldn’t taste anything After being away from home for so long my palate have become refined like the food here. They use chicken broth instead of pork and bone broth. It was lighter and don’t make you feel sleepy after you eat it because it’s so heavy. Japanese owned so its they do it the traditional way. I would give it a five star but the fried food was ok and didn’t look like the picture

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noodle is great, while side dishes are so overpriced and surprisingly disappointing. 4 extremely small octopus balls for $120 (value of $50 to me), and small amount of veggie for $50 (like the size of your 3-4 fingers, value of $20 to me). Overall it's good but just quite overpriced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the signature pomelo and salt based soup ramen. I like the soup is clear and the smell of pomelo but the saltness isn't really my taste. The flavor doesn't balance well in my opinion.
The staff are friendly, seems Japanese but speak Mandarin well.
