Best Dim sum restaurant in Taiwan

O	Otto Lai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Modern, clean and no time limit HK style yum cha restaurant, good to place have great food and catch up with friends without having time pressure. Dishes are delicious and inexpensive roughly around TW$88 to $100 per dish, restaurant charges TW$30 per head for teacup fee.

The cantonese style fries noodle is a little more taiwanese (sweeter) than cantonese but it's still pretty good. Credit cards accepted. Book early for a window booth.

They have a very big menu of what you can get. You have to take the elevator to get here from the movie theater ticket office. That's where I saw an advertisement for the BBQ pork pastry but they made it look BIG! It's super small and was just okay. I really enjoyed the deep fried peanut butter sandwich. The fried pork rice bowl was pretty bad. The crispy part was just really hard and tough to eat.
j	jane tse on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if this place wasnt categorized as cantonese, i would've given it 4 stars because it is definitely highly infused with taiwanese cuisine. lacking authenticity but great value overall. very clean. i ordered the bbq & duck rice afternoon combo and it came with taiwanese sides (cabbage/corn/yuchoy). rice grain is taiwanese variety. milk tea is on par with vancouver/hk. pineapple bun is skippable. very good pu erh tea.

A few dishes are also noticably localized more to Taiwanese tastes (e.g. the sauce paired with the turnip cakes, or the fried sweet taro ball). Thought their BBQ pork was a bit unusual. Still wanna try other main dishes!

J	Jessica Yang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So here’s the thing, If you have a craving for Dim Sum at an average price. This place does the job.. Atmosphere and service is simple but good. With regards to food.. their Century Egg and Pork Congee is delicious and full of flavour ? Thai Shrimp Cakes have a great texture and thickness ? The Chicken Feet were flavorful and Tender, these three are a must try! As for the rest… The roasted duck was average in all aspects, flavour was okay with a teeny tiny bit on the salty side (I had to down some tea…) and skin could be crispier. The popular Shrimp Steamed Dumplings had a good texture but filling was quite “powdery” ?… I’d skip on that. Lastly, we had the Stir Fried Rice Cakes which lacked in any crispy texture. You would be better off getting the pan-fried version. Overall, we paid around 1000 NT for 5 dishes. Hope this helped!
