Fantastic guabao. The bun was perfectly fluffy and soft, and the pork belly melts in your mouth without being too heavy. Without a doubt deserving of its place in the michelin guide. A must-visit if in the Wanhua area - 10/10 would recommend!

As an avid food traveler, I highly rate this hidden food-on-a-budget gem as a must have for anyone visiting Hua Xian Market. The serving size is great for an individual snack meal. It has a balanced sweet and savory kick for every bite . The sweetness comes from peanut sugar sprinkles while its complementing savory taste is from the sandwiched tender braised pork slice with preserved vegetable.

Good, but not sure it’s worth the hype. Came because it was on the bib gourmand list. Bun was nice and meat was very tender, but I agree with others that it’s too sweet. The peanut powder feels like chewing a spoonful of sugar. If you like pork belly, try Wang’s Broth next door ??

Hands down the best GuaBao (Pork belly bao) in Taipei. The pork belly melts in your mouth and it's not too rich/oily. The bun is fluffy and not too dry. The pickled cabbage is perfectly seasoned, not too salty. All of these combined with the right peanut seasoning create the best GuaBao in town! I could eat a lot of these in a row and not get sick! Momofuku could definitely learn something from them!

Nice bao definitely worth to come to try not only has Michelin recommened! knowing some people might doubt about how Michelin guide judge over Asian food. But the restaurant that was either recommended or nominated by the guide must be with certain level of taste, hygiene, freshness, plating, atmosphere and service manners. The only problem with this bao is a little bit too fluffy and watery like pancake ? (traditional bao should be more solid & firm) if you buy them for take away or not finish them in a short time. Other than that materials such as sour veggies and corianders are fresh and clean, sweetness are just enough and smooth, braised pork is above average and not too oily. The place is not elegant but neat and clean as well. Hence we need to be fair to give this place 4+ stars.

This Guabao, a Taiwanese burger is a kind of traditional food in Taiwan. It tastes very soft, with stewed pork, peanut powder and sugar, pickles, and cilantro in it. It tastes sweet and salty, but tasty.

This is a famous 刈包 place. Inside an alley. The presentation is the most elegant I've seen so far. It looks very neat. But does it taste as good as it looks? Kind of. This is a great 刈包. I wouldn't say it's the best I've tried in Taipei so far. What's interesting is that their pickled cabbage is warm which is different from all other places I've tried. They put the peanut powder at the bottom. This is traditional. I still prefer a little bit at the bottom and on the top as well. Their meat has a great texture and has a light flavour. Paid 55 NTD.
