The outer wall of the clear bricks and the roof of the black tiles reveal its age. The predecessor of this building was the first ward of the Renji Sanatorium. It was originally located in the Renji Hospital in Longshan Temple, Taipei (now Guangzhou No. 243), to relieve the disabled and the disabled, the widowed, the lonely and the poor. Due to the expansion of the institution, in the 11th year of Taisho (1922), it was moved to the Ryokancho (the current site of No. 42 Park 2, Section 2, Xiyuan Road), and the original business was renewed and a psychiatric health center was opened. Lunge Nursing Home was established in 1992. In 2006, the Taipei Municipal Government passed a bill to designate the three buildings of the Lungi Nursing Home located on the 2nd tier of Xiyuan Road as historic buildings.
