Absolutely yummy porridge! Strongly recommended the 鱼霸 which was so good! ? there is also porridge available for children under 3 yo.

If you’re expecting cantonese styled porridge, this is not the place you are looking for. Porridge is on the watery side, but the amount of ingredients and flavour of everything in a bowl makes up for it. Would recommend to travellers like myself!

After having gotten food poisoning from another restaurant, I went to this lovely automatic porridge shop to sooth my poor stomach. I highly recommend the chicken mushroom selection. Will look forward to trying the pork ones in the cold winter times.

Got congee here, it’s right next to my Airbnb. It was decent congee but mine had liver in it which I didn’t Iike that much. The duck egg was good though

Clean and comfy dining environment. Ingredients used were very generous. Spice your bowl of porridge up with some white pepper that’s provided.

Very nice porridge. Good break from the street food. Its should be a 5 star for food. But hard to find. It's in alley. Try the Cantonese porridge.

This small store is tucked inside of an alley in the Ximending area, providing several types of delicious porridge to suit different tastes. Every bowl is cooked only after you order and the portion is fairly generous given its price. There aren't that many seats, but the environment is pretty clean.

Came across this congee shop on our way back to the apartment. It is inside a small lane from the busy street where missus stopped me and show me their large signage of just the simple word “Congee”. We were looking for something light after a heavy non-stop meal throughout the day, hence it was raining that evening too. The shop is not really large and the kitchen is right in front where you can see how it is prepare. Simple menu not complicated and easy to decide. Not much of customers at that time perhaps it is raining. Noticed that they do have a few of phone orders for delivering every now and than. We ordered the canton style which include of century egg, abalone slice,prawn, pork liver, lean meat and egg for takeaway since the rain looks like getting heavier. I noticed the cook threw in a whole century egg which I thought he was cooking for two portion but instead it is an egg for a portion. It is indeed a very generous portion with lots of ingredient rather than just mostly congee. Cook uses thick soup to heat up and scoop in the congee together with the ingredient. The century egg I must say is very tasty as some may have funny smell but not this and hence like I say it is very generous to give a whole egg. In general taste is not bad will even get more if I stayed longer for my holiday.
