★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow great hostel. They have set the bar!! Great service, room super clean, same goes for the bathroom!! To bad I can only give 5 stars!! For all other hostels out there. Watch and learn how 109 Hostel Taipei does it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked the Quadruple room and were very satisfied with our 3 nights stay. Everything is clean and the whole place is so cozy. We're allowed to use the shared bathroom outside (for the dorm's guests) even though we have our own en suite bathroom. Room cleaning service is provided everyday. The staff were very helpful to give us useful travel tips and maps to places of attractions, also directed us to laundry shops and nearby good food. The hostel is strategically located near to Ximending and the Taipei Main Station, all within 5-10mins walking distance. Also walking distance to some local attractions such as the Presidential Office (free for visiting from 9 to 12). Highly recommended to all.

The environment is very clean especially the bathrooms and the sheet, the light is also bright, and the transportation is very convenient, you can take the subway from the Taipei station, Which is the most convenient hub in Taipei. The price is also affordable and the boss there are so niiiiice, highly recommended!!! I think this is the best hostel for not only the backpackers but also those who wants to experience the beauty of Taipei city?

On top of cleanliness and the best location, 109 Taipei makes you feel settled, well-accommodated and even gives you tips to get to the best market, cafe and transportation. It was very surprising (in a very good way) that despite their small and humble hostel, small touches are given HIGH importance. Something that many forward hotels do not even bother. This place is PWD-friendly with bathrooms and hallway accessible for people with disabilities. This place is also Halal-friendly, provides basic necessities for Muslim travelers. The way they ave designed their place gives high attention to details and even on small things that we usually forego. I highly highly recommend this place.

Initially I only planned to stay a few nights, and I ended up liking the place so much that I stayed longer! The location is also very convenient, and there are many delicious local food around

First time I checked in at 2:30 AM, coming straight from the airport, and didn't have any issues even though I emailed them on the same day about the late check-in. Second time I got a free upgrade to a private room. Pretty new beds/bedsheets and cozy vibe. Great location not far from the MRT. I hope to return again soon!

We even received the upgrade and the hosts saw my parents are old they kindly offered the room at the low level which is very convenient and considerate! We are so touched! We love this place next door to the Taipei station. Please support the three sisters who just set up their family business of this lovely hostel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly, helpful, bilingual staff, extremely clean and accommodating space, and nice amenities. Pretty easy to find, and nice location in the city. The staff also has a lot of suggestions for day trips, and they're very helpful with helping you figure out transportation. Just a warning that the bathroom situation can be a little awkward (coed), but they're clean.
