Best Observation deck in Taiwan

S	Stanislav Myachenkov on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best view in Taipei. It’s a pretty short way up, you’ll get to main observation places in a about 15 minutes. But I guarantee: you’ll spend a lot more time choosing your personal perfect frame to make the best photo of Taipei. It’s an amazing place to chill and enjoy fantastic city skyline.
C	Charles W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth a trip here. Although you may have to climb quite a few steps to come up here, this is certainly a great spot to get a bird eye view of the city. Nice walk in a lazy afternoon with the breeze wows you.

The walk up the stairs can be a little steep but definitely worth it for the effort. Take your time if needed as there are multiple stops in between the final destination. Bring big stray as there are many mosquitoes when the sun goes down. Highly recommended to all travelers.

It can be a challenging walk up, but the effort is well worth it. The place is popular, especially as sunset approaches, so it can get crowded.

It's a bit of a walk from any other city sites and also a short walk from the closest railway station. That said, use that short walk as a warm up. Ordinarily a walk up this many steps would be a fairly easy going trek for most people, but in the Taipei heat, its a bit more of a challenge so take water!.. The view is well worth it at the top. Although be aware there are some badass mosquitos that hang out on the trail, so if you taste good to them, be prepared to be a blood donor to the nature of the city.

Maybe it was because my husband and i hiked in the morning but the view was spectacular!!! Best for shooting a time lapse over looking the Taipei 101 with the clouds moving above and the bustling cars below.
M	Max Dhillon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievable view, best in Taipei. Trek beginning is a bit tricky to find, and the steps are extremely steep and quite long. The view is well worth the effort though. I recommend going to before sunset - slightly cooler for the walk, and you get the view during the day, then with sunset over the city and then the city lights up for the night
B	Bryan Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is it a challenge to climb up 162metres? Yes if you ask me, but it is definitely worth the hike up! At the top, you definitely have to queue up for a good photo especially during sunset as the view up here is amazing. If you travel solo uphill, you will need to ask strangers to help you take photos of yourself and even better if they are courageous enough they will climb onto a rock to help you capture the best view!
